Just dropping in to say hi.
Managed to get chat to work thanks to B0nkers ! It appears dead this time of day. Probably has to do with the childrens being in school and whatnot.
I'm not going to be around a lot today because I have to finish my sisters blanket. However, when I am finished (it's amazing) I will share here. I really want to get back into sharing my creations and ooohing and ahhhhing over all the others here.

Well Hello There!
Long time no see again my friends! I am often thinking of this place when I am crafting, working, or otherwise have my hands full. So you all have not left my thoughts! If you are arting elsewhere off site, please let me know! I would really like to see.
MMMM... Coffee
As I sit here, browsing dA and enjoying my coffee, I thought I should share some of the inspiration/suggestion I have gained recently. I am sure not all of you have heard of this guy but some of you might have. Scott Christian Sava. I found him on Youtube and Twitter (@ssava) and I absolutely love what he has to say and what he does. He not only creates, he supports other artists by giving his thoughts and views, giving encouragement. He makes me feel good as an artist. Makes me feel that I can create even when I don't want to, when I feel defeated. You really should check him out if you haven't already. Anywho, what I really want to say is that he inspired me through one of his suggestions. To keep a sketch/drawing journal. Draw every day. But don't just draw what you like, move outside of your comfort zone. Draw things that need your attention. Keep notes in this journal, right along side your drawings. It really is nice to know what was going on at the time when you look back at it
I Am SO Sorry + HUGE Update
I apologize immensely for popping in and out of here. Life has taken on a new kind of busy. I work second shift (230pm to 11pm) Monday through Friday and with the kids soon becoming preteens, my time is super limited. However, I have made time to art! I have a three day weekend and on Monday I hope to upload the things I have been doing. A lot of them are photos of what I have done so the quality isn't super great but will be added to my gallery because I no longer own the original as they were gifts. Now, the busiest part of my life.... The Crème De La Crème. The one HUGE bright spot in my life. Do you guys remember me talking about Devin? My oldest boy that I was desperate to see and reached out for help on here quite some time ago? Guess who reached out and found ME?! YES!!! My oldest boy found me! We have reconnected and he's no longer angry at me. I got to tell my side of the story and hear his. We are planning a visit come January and I cannot wait! I want to thank you all SO
Back to work and... FIRE!
Waiting for that interview really paid off. I got the job I wanted and am making more than $16 per hour with mandatory overtime. Paychecks are freaking NICE! I am working at another factory where I really do feel at home. Some of it is hard to manage since I haven't developed a routine yet, but I'm getting there. My position is titled Molder A. I am essentially a lead, material handler, machine operator, and quality inspector all wrapped up in one. I do share the position with one other person though. Makes things SO much easier. I can't imagine how he felt before I came along. He was doing all that by himself! At any rate, I really enjoy it and love going to work every day. Did I yell FIRE!? Yes, yes I did. Just this past Wednesday night, I came home to an apartment in my building on fire. I could see and smell only smoke. So I got my family out and called 911. Only 3 out of 4 tenants made it out. The 4th... well, he was the cause of the fire. So many times as a child was I told the
